We can design supply, install, service and maintain a complete dehumidification system inclusive of expert selected dehumidifier, gas and water pipework, ductwork, controls, commissioning and replacement parts, i.e. the complete package.
Our senior Engineers have a combined experience of over 30 years working on dehumidification units in several countries throughout the world and are on call 365 days a year.
We are an approved installer for Munters (UK).
Munters products have been installed for a huge variety of both customers and applications. Please see the table below for examples. Should you have any questions please call, if we do not have the answer then we can put you onto the person that does.
THE BASIC PRINCIPLES
The Munters Desiccant Rotor
The basic idea of the Munters Desiccant Rotor is very simple:
Air is blown though the rotor structure and the humidity in the air is absorbed by the desiccant.
The air leaves the rotor as Dry Air.
The drive motor turns the rotor around slowly (6-10 times an hour).
The rotor structure passes a separate sector where hot (reactiviation) air is blown through the rotor to remove the accumulated moisture. The resulting wet air (which contains the removed moisture) is blown away outside.
The rotor consists of a corrugated fibreglass structure, which contains a hygroscopic material (desiccants such as silicagel or lithium-chloride)
The system only has a few moving parts: one or two fans and a drive motor. No freon, no compressor.
